I was visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and was taking with my wife about composition in paintings and explained how the baroque 

Baroque artists take the original, the new, and the modern as their subject. Baroque art is not about the complete and perfect, but only about the active and the formed. It seeks not limited and easily comprehensible, but the limitless and huge. Baroque art and architecture, the visual arts and construction in Western art that roughly coincide with the 17th century. Chiaroscuro refers to the use of contrasting light and dark values that can influence the entire composition.
